Twitch streamers are always competing for records: the longest stream, subathons, most subs or peak viewers. To keep track of it all, these are the biggest livestreaming records as of April 2026.
As the audience for livestreaming grows, streamers fight for attention. Established names work to keep their viewer base; newcomers chase their share. Along the way, records fall for milestones beyond peak concurrents alone.
Third-party trackers publish peak viewership for Twitch and for YouTube separately. On Twitch, peak viewership is the most common shorthand for “biggest” moment, but subathons, subscriber totals and endurance streams tell a fuller story. The sections below break down the standouts.
Longest subathon on Twitch
The current record for the longest subathon stream is 1,607 days, held by Emilycc. The stream is still ongoing and has crossed the four-year mark.
Sparked by the popularity of Ludwig’s subathon, many streamers now run their own. For every sub or donation, time is added to the clock and the streamer stays live until the timer hits zero. Ludwig capped his run at 30 days; others went much longer. In September 2021, PandaTV streamed for 840 hours straight. PappiEric followed with a 45-day subathon. Athena streamed over 1,000 hours straight (about 47 days) the same month.
Since then, subathons became a staple and those early marks were left behind. Emilycc now sits at 1,607 days and counting. SweatyPedals holds second at 1,193+ days (ongoing). Several other long-running subathons are still climbing toward and past the one-year mark.

Longest stream on Twitch
The longest solo livestream on Twitch by a single broadcaster is also Emilycc, with 1,600+ days uninterrupted on the same subathon model. Before ultra-long subathons, the clearest solo record belonged to GPHustla: 634 days in one continuous broadcast. Emilycc’s run has since blown past that and is still live (see the subathon section above).
Beyond solo channels, StreamerHouse has claimed a continuous live presence since 2013, which would top any individual run by duration. That channel is a group of hosts and guests rather than one streamer, so it sits in a different category from solo endurance records.
Most subs on Twitch ever
The record for the highest subscriber count on Twitch at one time is held by Kai Cenat, with over 1 million during Mafiathon 3 (September 2025) and still the headline number when comparing peaks. That run beat the prior all-time high, which was also Kai’s 2024 Mafiathon at 728,535 subscribers—ahead of Ironmouse at 326,252 (October 2024). Kai’s first Mafiathon record was 306,621 (March 2023), before Ironmouse passed it briefly.
Those peaks almost all came from 30-day-style subathons where subs extend the timer. Outside a subathon, Ninja famously set a bar at 269,154 subscribers in April 2018.
